G-III Brands is an American clothing parent company for popular brands including Guess?, DKNY, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Andrew Marc, Levi Strauss & Co., Dockers, Harley-Davidson apparel, Kenneth Cole and Wilsons. The parent company has a best-in-class reputation in apparel and accessories as well as designing, sourcing, manufacturing, and marketing brands globally.

OPPORTUNITY

G-III was looking to refresh its department store shops and needed an Installation partner who could manage a volume of, and often simultaneous, installations to be completed across multiple cities, in multiple states. Given a short window of time and business guidelines outlined by the department stores, it was imperative the Installation crews be fast, clean, and do not disrupt the sales floor. Installation teams needed to: arrive on-site before the delivery of fixtures; ensure the delivery was accurate and inspect the delivered fixtures for damages.

DEDON’S RESPONSE

DedON’s roll-out plan included progress reporting to G-III teams responsible for the new Store layouts. The DedON Installation team built a check list of items that the G-III brands team utilized to identify any issues, current status, and completion of individual installations. The Installation team provided the G-III team with real time photos to communicate status and ensure quality of the installations.

RESULTS

DedON continues to be an Installation partner for G-III brands. The ongoing rollouts for the various brand updates in department stores continues to be a successful project for both teams, installing projects accurately, on-time and with minimal business disruption. The Department store and G-III teams were all impressed with the efficiency and cleanliness of the fixture installations. G-III relies on DedON to fulfill their vision for the department store space.
