Stephen Hart, Founder and President started DedON some 20 years ago. He noticed there was an incredible void in having accurate information available at the start of major construction projects. His mission became to provide better, and more accurate information to professional designers, project managers and builders whose professional reputation was dependent on the accuracy of estimations of actual conditions. Stephen thought that reliable information about the existing condition of a physical space would allow their professional judgement to have a greater impact on their important work and allow for the best possible project preparation.
DedON was founded with this goal in mind. We began with site surveys, architectural, written and photographic documentation of existing space. Today, DedON has progressed into Store Planning & Retail Support, assisting planners and designers maintain and communicate accurate brand information within their stores, new and expanding locations, restaurants, branches and hotels.
Both the retail store planning and field services divisions at DedON have grown tremendously over time. We have become market leaders in both areas and evolved alongside our Customers while remaining focused on delivering the most reliable, high quality, well-understood clarity of space and (brand) performance planning available across North America today.
