OPPORTUNITY

T-Mobile’s marketing team set out to replace traditional promotional posters with digital screens across 6,000 stores.

The challenge: completing this large-scale rollout within eight months, ensuring each store had consistent screen placement, proper electrical access, and installation readiness — all while managing a high volume of unique store layouts across the country.

DEDON’S RESPONSE

T-Mobile initially engaged DedON to complete on-site surveys for each store. As we learned more about their challenges, DedON identified an opportunity to also provide planning support.

In addition to conducting the surveys, DedON leveraged T-Mobile’s guidelines to determine optimal digital screen placements to replace traditional promotional posters.

Our Field and Retail Support teams worked closely together to streamline field capture, refine proposed layouts, accelerate turnaround times, and ensure accuracy across all deliverables.

Deliverables included:

  • Accurate floor plans and elevation drawings showing digital screen locations.

  • Electrical and outlet mapping to guide installation teams.

  • Standardized drawing templates ensuring consistency across thousands of stores.
  • A scalable documentation workflow enabling rapid production without sacrificing accuracy.

By refining the process, DedON delivered all required documentation in six months — two months ahead of schedule, giving T-Mobile valuable lead time to begin installations early.

RESULTS

DedON successfully completed 6,000 store plans in six months, enabling T-Mobile’s marketing and facilities teams to launch their nationwide digital screen program ahead of schedule.
